Vocal lesson on Pace
I was in a pair with Stephen to come up with some exercises to develop the understanding of pace that could be taken as a 10 minute lesson for the rest of our course.
we used the following exercises:
walking increasing speed - understand everyone has their own rhythm/pace.
breathing technique - understand how the diaphragm works.
tongue twisters - allow everyone in groups to try out pacing tongue twisters.
I feel that the lesson went well but in future when lead group exercises the groups will be chosen for them so that groups are more on task.
